Jeremy Benjamin

Co-President

Jeremy is a junior from New York City concentrating in Applied Mathematics-Economics and has been involved with BIG since his freshman fall. Last summer, he worked in endowment management at The Packard Foundation, where he explored the duration required for marked returns to become accurate. Next summer, Jeremy will join PJT Partners in their Restructuring and Special Situations Group. His interests include AI, skiing, Texas Hold’em poker, and ice cream sandwiches.


Scottie Cho

Co-President

Scottie is a junior from Massachusetts concentrating in Economics and History. He joined the Research Committee in the fall of his freshman year, and has worn many hats since, serving as Head of Financial Institutions and Operations Head. His past experience rests in GP staking and legal strategy, but will join investment banking for the upcoming summer. In his free time, Scottie enjoys comedy, running, and philosophy.


Jake Brini

Head of External Operations

Jake is a junior from Hingham, Massachusetts studying Applied Math-Economics and Computer Science. He has been a member of the Research Committee since his freshman year, and also leads the Media and Telecommunications Group. Jake spent this past summer working at White Hat Capital Partners, which focuses on common equity and structured investments in publicly traded SMID-cap technology companies. On campus, he is also a VP of the Bruno Finance Society, captain of the club lacrosse team, and a volunteer tutor.


Thomas Yun

Head of Internal Operations

Thomas is a junior from New York City studying Applied Math-Econ at Brown. He joined the Research Committee in his freshman year, and previously led the Financial Institutions Group. This past summer he worked at the quantitative hedge fund Quest Partners, and before that, was at the JV between Apollo Global Management and Belstar, a Public/Private Credit fund. In his free time, Thomas enjoys spearfishing, poker, skiing, and golf.


Tianyu Zhou

Head of Investing

Tianyu is a senior at Brown University majoring in CS-Econ and head of investing at the Brown Investment Group. He has previously interned at Santander's Industrials Investment Banking team and BDT & MSD Partners' Investment Team. His interests include horse polo, guitar, and cooking.


Noemi Elliott

Head of Mentorship and Campus Relations

Noemi is a junior from Singapore studying Applied Math - Economics and East Asian Studies. This past summer, she worked at Trial Capital as an investment intern. On campus, she is also a member of the Ivy Film Festival and is an avid Chelsea supporter.


Faizaan Qureshi

Core Fund Portfolio Manager

Faizaan is a sophomore from Boston studying Applied Math and Computer Science. He joined the Research Committee in the fall of his freshman year. This past summer, Faizaan worked at West Fifth Partners, a software private equity firm. His interests include real estate and software. Faizaan loves playing FIFA, and is a huge Celtics fan.


Sidhant Sharma

Long/Short Fund Portfolio Manager

Sidhant is a sophomore from Mumbai, India studying Applied Math-Economics and History. Over the past couple of summers, he's consulted with Bain's private equity team and done macroeconomic research to model India's future remittance growth with Axis Bank. On campus, Sidhant is involved with other finance clubs, writes for BIG's newsletter and is a member of every free food club imaginable. To get his attention, bring up Lebron James, Virat Kohli, Sergio Aguero or Lewis Hamilton (except 2021).


Caroline McCool

External Vice President

Caroline is a sophomore from the San Francisco Bay Area and has been on the Research Committee since her first semester at Brown. She is pursuing a concentration in Material Science Engineering and competes on the Brown Women's Cross Country and Track and Field teams. This past summer, she completed research within the Institute at Brown for Environment and Society. This year, Caroline will serve as the External Vice President and as the Co-Sector Head of Energy and Natural Resources.


Elizabeth Hirschfeld

Internal Vice President

Elizabeth is a senior from Mountain Lakes, New Jersey. She spent this past summer as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst at Jefferies in their New York City office, and the summer prior as a Finance Intern at Tapestry. When she’s not in class, you can find her taking walks with friends around Providence, at Coffee Exchange, or on a picnic blanket on the Main Green.
